ELPC places great importance on providing equal service to all clients and visitors, and works to make this website accessible to people with disabilities.
Conformance level
This website has been adapted to the requirements of Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at Level AA.
Adjustments made on this site
- A hierarchical heading structure, labeled navigation regions and a “Skip to main content” link.
- Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Alternative text for meaningful images and logos; decorative elements are hidden from screen readers.
- Explicit labels for form fields, and status messages announced by assistive technologies.
- Support for the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting - animations are reduced or stopped.
- High color contrast and a layout adapted for mobile, tablet and desktop.
Known limitations
Some elements of the interactive presentation on the home page are based on 3D graphics and scroll-driven animation. All the information they present is also available as plain text further down the page. If you come across an element that isn’t accessible, please let us know so we can fix it.
